AltExtron - gb147 - transcript data


For each organism under consideration, we used all EST, mRNA and HTC sequences 
that we could extract from GenBank 147.

Full datasets of the extracted sequences and/or the scripts used to extract them 
are available upon request.

Transcript sequences were given identifiers based on their GI numbers, and with the
prefix "est_", "mRNA_" or "htc_".  It is not practicable or necessary to list 
these sequences here, and they may be retrived from GenBank/EMBL/DDBJ using the
GI number as the search key. It is however practicable and useful to list here 
the definitions of the sequences involved in the alignments; that is, the clone
library. An example entry is:

mRNA_5006270 (AB007457.1)  cl="not available"

This corresponds to the mRNA sequence in GenBank 147 with GI number 5006270,
and accession(.ver) AB007457.1. In this case we did not manage to parse a
clone library definition from the GenBank files, and this is thus given as
"not available".
